Coconut fried.

The Lunchbox hasn't been open all that long -- only since April of this year -- but it has the feel of a place that's been around forever.

Located in the former A&W Root Beer location along Race Street, The Lunchbox is a homey and comfortable place to grab a burger, a veggie-heavy lunch buffet and of course, pie.

The fried pies at The Lunchbox are fried deep for a good solid golden crust. Inside, you'll find one of many different flavors, including coconut. The custard is packed with flavor, a little sweet but perfect for the slightly salty crust.
